Display item from a list

Jan 19, 2021

Hi everyone,

There is a large project that I am taking on at work.

It is a health care learning package where students are presented with an x-ray image. There any many medical words that we want students to know and these will be displayed on this image - e.g. clavicle, humerus, aorta etc.

The idea is to have an arrow pointing to the structure and the label for that structure.

I think I am okay with the following items, but I have included this to help with discussion.

1. a check box or button to turn the labels on/off
2. a check box or button to run the arrows on/off

This is what I am stuck with.

The labels of the structures, should if possible, be presented in a (scroll-able) list and the students have the ability to select any item in that list. This will override options 1 and 2 above and only display the structure the student has selected.

E.g. all the arrows and labels are on but the student wants to only see the humerus label and arrow. Once they select this in the list, the eLearning hides the other arrows and labels.

So in this regards, what I am hoping to achieve is make a label and somehow add this label (as a variable?) to the list? And associate the arrow with the label?

Can any of you geniuses give me a possible solution that is relatively painless that I can copy and paste multiple time? If this is achievable, there will be some 600 images!

Thanks!!!
