Jan Vilbrandt almost 9 years ago07/16/15 at 12:48 pm (UTC) Hi Greg, assuming the following: 1. you have got a text-variable 2. you have got a textbox on a slide and the button on another the solution would be: set the "when revisiting" of the slide with the button to "reset to Initial state". Set the Default state of the button to "hidden". Insert a Trigger on the slide with the button: Action: Change state of On Object: Button1 (name of your button) To State: Normal When Timeline Starts Object: 1.2 untitled slide (name of your slide with the button) Condition: TextEntry != Not equal to Leave the textbox for the compare value empty! In your trigger window you will find the condition with the following sentence: .... If TextEntry is not equal to (blank) The "reset to Initial state" will take care, that your button Status will be changed at every revisit if neccessary. Cheers, Jan

the solution would be:
set the "when revisiting" of the slide with the button to "reset to Initial state".
Set the Default state of the button to "hidden".
Insert a Trigger on the slide with the button:
Action: Change state of
On Object: Button1 (name of your button)
To State: Normal
When Timeline Starts
Object: 1.2 untitled slide (name of your slide with the button)
Condition: TextEntry != Not equal to
Leave the textbox for the compare value empty!
In your trigger window you will find the condition with the following sentence:
.... If TextEntry is not equal to (blank)
The "reset to Initial state" will take care, that your button Status will be changed at every revisit if neccessary.
Cheers,
Jan
