Document Hyperlink - Word vs PDF

Hello everyone,
I recently revised an existing Storyline module for a client and found that when we hyperlinked a Word document and uploaded the course to the Oracle Taleo Learn LMS, clicking the hyperlink restarted a new instance of the course. When we replaced the Word document with a PDF version, the hyperlink worked properly.
Additionally, when testing the link in the story.swf file created while publishing, the link didn't work at all. The hand icon appeared but no action occurred when clicking the link for either the version with the Word document or the version with the PDF document.
Has anyone else experienced any of this?

Hi Lyn,
I haven't heard of a similar situation, but did you also look at testing the set up outside of your LMS to see how it behaves there? You could look at using a site such as SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing as detailed here.
