Documents

I'm designing an elearning course that introduces users to documents; what's the best way to do this? They're obviously too small to visually review in the storyline skins; I need to be able either create "pop-outs" or provide users with a way to review them another way without having to worry about advancing through the scene.

Also, how do I turn off auto-advance? I imported a PowerPoint, and the lesson is auto-advancing (I set it to 25 seconds) through player skins; I want to create user navigation as the lesson (and quizzes) are untimed.
