I upload documents to the resources tab with the intent for participants to review the document when directed to do so during the module. When I review the modules, the resources will not appear when clicked on...is this because I am publishing the documents to the web? Will the documents uploaded to the resources tab only work when published to LMS?
I have tested this via temphsare and when we publish the modules and upload them to our website.
The files are not on a secure server. They were created by me, placed in my dropbox and then I uploaded them to the module. This has been the same with other modules I have developed where docs are stored in a normal file on my computer, I upload them and they are not able to be viewed when the module is uploaded to our company website and/or tempshare. What could the solution be for this issue?
Thanks Nick! I am seeing the same behavior. Would you be able to share the pdf that you are attaching. I'm getting an error like the pdf is not really in the .story file as it should be prior to publishing.
Correct, I couldn't access the test resource your created. This isn't an isolated issue for me rather anyone on my team who attempts to view our material cannot see the docs in the resources tab.

Hi Nick,
What type if files are you linking to the resources, are they PDF files? Would you be able to share your file here for us to take a look?
Hi Emily,
Yes, they are PDF documents in the resources tab. Here is a an example of what I am experiencing. Thank you for connecting with me to figure this out.

Hi Nick! Are the files on a secure server perhaps? We would expect them to work if you were uploading to Tempshare.

Hi Nick! Looks like you shared the published output file, but I was hoping to take a look at the .story project file.
Makes sense...here you go. I hope this is the correct file.

Hi Nick! I would advise working off of your local drive. I just tested adding in one of your files myself and it works as expected.

It still doesn't work properly. If I select any of the files the message I receive is...
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I appreciate all of your help. I have submitted a ticket to Articulate Support for assistance.
You could not access the test resource that I added? Perhaps I should have specified that I did not modify the content you already added.
You are most certainly welcome to work with our support team though, and I see where you have reached out to our team (00585445).
