Does SL Report Question-level Info to LMS?

May 13, 2013

This is kind of a two-part question... First, does SL report question-level info to an LMS? I'd like to be able to see what questions were people having trouble with to identify if I have a bad question or to try and identify areas where the student body may need additional help.

Second, if it does send question-level detail how does it work when you are using a results slide that is pulling off of more than one quiz to report the final result? Will SL report on all of the quizzes at a question-level detail?

Thanks Peter. What I'm looking for is detail on individual questions in a quiz or quizzes. For example with a multiple choice question I'd like to know what percentage of quiz takers got question 1 right and of those who got it wrong, what choices did they make. This allows me to see how the student body did as a whole on any given question and what answer choices (distrators) where throwing them off. It also would help identify faulty questions; those that people are missing not because they don't know the material but because the question is not written well. It might also be interesting to see how long people are spending on any particular question.

Based on your first link, I think the info is there. Question will be how to get the LMS to report the details back...
