Articulate Storyline supports non-Western languages, including right-to-left scripts—such as Arabic and Hebrew—and double-byte character sets (DBCS)—such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean—so you can deliver content in any language.
Unfortunately, when I wrote in Arabic in (Articulate Engage and Quizmaker) , nothing showing up and when I tried to apply the steps that you have mentioned above for Arabic Language on, it gets stuck.
You initially mentioned Storyline - are you importing these Engage/Quizmaker elements into Storyline? Did it only get stuck when making that change to the player set up? Were you able to change it in Storyline? Were you able to add Arabic text to the slide itself? I didn't have any issues setting the player language to Arabic or RTL - so since you saw it in Engage and Quizmaker, I'd like to have you go through the repair steps here.
When you import Engage into Storyline it's imported in as a web object, so you won't be able to edit it directly in Storyline. After importing a Quizmaker into Storyline, you can edit questions like any other slide. You can also use the Form View and Slide View buttons in the Question panel on the right side of the screen to toggle between both editing workspaces.
If this is not working for you when you're using Engage/Quizmaker on it's own - again, I think the repair is the next step or you're welcome to share a .intr or .quiz file here with us to take a look at.
Thank you Ashley, but now I decided to use Storyline only. I can write in Arabic in slides and it appear when I preview it, but the player still cannot be changed in Arabic.
I attached Storyline and Video files to you to take a look at it.
Thanks for sharing the .story file and the video of the behavior. Was this the .story file that you recorded the video of? I wasn't able to replicate the same freezing of the player when adjusting the player text labels and then the right to left setting. Did you look into the repair steps of Storyline? Did you also confirm you're on the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 7?
Studio '13 does have support for Arabic built into the player. Check out the documentation here on changing that. In addition, there are translation features as well.
It will be very helpful if there is a PDF manual (and video presentation if any) that we can refer to for practicing all functions of the program. If so, please let me know how to get it.
You mentioned Articulate 13 Pro in your post, so I assume that you are utilizing Studio '13. We do not have a pdf, but do have a series of tutorials that you can utilize here.
If I have misunderstood and you are looking for Storyline 2 material, that can be found here.

Hi Asma,

For items such as the player, you can change the text labels as described here. You'll also likely need to change to Right to Left language support.
Thank you, that's was helpful
Happy to help Asma

I attached a screenshot of Engage player.

Engage/Quizmaker get stuck when I use it alone and when I import it in Storyline, I cannot edit it.
Regards to slides, I can add Arabic text but it does not show up when I make Preview, but in Storyline everything is fine.

*Yes, the video file was of the .story file. I confirmed to the update,
but still I have the same problem!!*
Hi Asma! Thanks for the additional details. Ashley is out of the office today so I took a look at your file and I did not have difficulty either.
Can you conduct a repair of your software to see if this alleviates the issue?
