down slider not working on quiz slide

Dec 28, 2020

I have just discovered that one of my quiz slides (matching drop down) is not working correctly and I can't figure out why or how to fix it. The slider for the third and fourth questions' answers does not allow the user to go down the list to find the correct answer. The first two are fine and show all four possible answers, but the bottom two do not. Any one have any ideas?

Also, every time I change my player I get an error report form??? It does not shut down the program, but just wonder what's up?

THANK YOU.

Hi Sylvia,

Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing your experience! It looks like we do have a bug reported for this behavior in Storyline 3 where:

A user is unable to use the mouse scroll wheel or scrollbar to scroll through all answers from the bottom drop-down in a Graded Matching Drop-Down question.

I'm sorry if this is slowing your project down! You can try to use the up/down arrows to select the choices or even convert this question into a Matching Drag-and-Drop.

I don't have an ETA on a fix, but we'll be sure to jump in here when we have any news to share!

Thank you Ren. The arrow buttons don't work either. If I put the form at the very top of the slide then all four answers will appear. It seems to be a problem at the bottom of the slides and makes me wonder if it is all related to the "dead zone" problem that several have had. I also keep having an issue EVERY time I change the player and the box comes up to send a bug report. So something somewhere is really glitching :(. Thanks for the help. I might try the drag and drop!
