I'd like to download a video into a Storyline 360 course so that even if the video is removed on the original site, it remains in the course. Does anyone know how to do this?
Well, the first question is, "Is the video yours to use"? For example, YouTube's use agreement states you can't download a video unless it has a download link available. Your best bet is if you see something you would like to use, get written permission from the owner to use it.
That being said, there are several programs out there that allow you to download a video simply by inserting the ULR link into a search window and then follow the download directions. A simple Google search will give you some options to pursue. Use them at your own discretion.
One of the sites I used in the past must have got nailed for offering downloads because they no longer provide the service and have put up a large download warning message on their site.
