Drag and drop Alphabets
Dec 06, 2017
Hi all developers,
I have a query for a fill up activity with letters(a, b, c, d...z.) drag and drop.
Condition should be multiple drag of an alphabet letter and drop, swapping of the dragging letters. Submitting the question, would reveal the answer in the feedback popup.
Let me make this query clear with an example:
The library has many collection of _ _ _ _ _.
BOOKS
('O' should be dragged more than one time here.)
Can anyone let me provide a solution for this drag and drop activity with alphabets.
Thanks and regards,
Suresh

Very rough sample that might give you an idea Suresh. I have only included a few letters just to test.
Hope this helps
Hi Wendy, Thanks for the quick response. It is not opening in my version of Storyline.
It would be fine, if the file is developed in Storyline 2.0 version, as I dont have the latest updated version of Storyline.
Hi Suresh
here is a video of how it looks - check this out and let me know if it will work for you before I rebuild it in SL2.
Hey Wendy, Thanks. Saw the video of your output. If you drag the 'O' and drop it at the third blank space and the second one with the another 'O', their lies the issue. It would show incorrect in that probability. Try and let me know. Thank you once again for your response.
Hi Suresh
no - both O's are set up to be correct whether they are in 2nd or 3rd position - see video
Thank you Wendy for sharing your video output. But the storyline version with me is 2.0, as I am unable to check the source file.
My issue with the word puzzle is the multiple dragging of the alphabets. The output of Wendy matches to my query to certain extent only. Actually, is there any JS file for doing such activity to get a better solution.
Let other developers gives me a suitable solution.
I understand that Suresh - I was asking if you checked the video and it was working as you expected - if so, then I would rebuild the example in SL2 for you.
Hopefully someone can chime in with a JS solution for you
Hi Wendy, Wish you a happy new year.
Checked the video, it is fine for the solution. But can you please work and share the SL2 version of the same for me to check.
