Drag-and-Drop Hotspots
May 16, 2020
I'm working in SL 2. I'm trying to create drag-and-drop assessments in which the user drag-and-drops the correct clothing items onto the "paper doll." I'm wondering what kind of hotspots to use so that the pieces drop exactly in the right placeon the doll. Shapes, freeform? Or should I break up the doll into pieces, e.g. head, hands, chest, so that each body area picture becomes the hotspot? Any other ideas? Thanks much!

Use a very small circle or rectangle at the center of where you want the dropped object, and set the target options to snap to center. If any part of the dragged object is over the target when dropped, it will align its center with the target.
Thank you--sounds easy. I'll give that a try.
