Hello again. I'm working on the next slide in a "tips and tricks for memorizing" activity and this one is about putting key words in order. I want to create a drag-and-drop activity where they put the key words in order as they appear in the passage they are memorizing. What's the best way to do this?
Here's what I'm working with (see attachment) - I'm not going to grade, just give feedback if they get it wrong to try again. I just want them to put the 9 key words in order as they appear in the passage. Does that make sense?
you can still use a quiz slide even you if don't want to grade it. It will give you feedback layers to use - just place the content you want on the layers. You can remove the default Submit button and add your own. Alternatively, create your attachment as a freeform drag and drop and then go to the Insert Tab > Remove freeform and this will make it a normal slide and remove the built in correct/incorrect layers and you can just add your own.
Hope that makes sense.
See attached sample - first slide is created using the Freeform D & D
Second slide is same slide using the Insert Tab > Remove freeform
How do I get it to "drop correct" or "drop incorrect"? I want to send the learner back to the first "navigation" page to explore another tip once they get them all correct, but I don't want them to be able to move on until they've done it successfully.
If you look at the second slide I have built those states on the drop items. On the feedback layer you can have a button that takes them to where you want to go

Hi Megan
would the sequence drag and drop or sequence dropdown quiz types suit your requirement?
