Drag and drop issues
Sep 21, 2020
Hi ! we've created a drag and drop activity Template for our training session with 4 attempts to find the correct answers (we are that nice :) ). First attempt doing the activity, no problem, everything goes smoothly. Second attempt, if we drag one answer, one or two more will be dragged and dropped randomly as well in the drop zone as if there was a magnet effect. If we change our parameters for free drop zone instead of mozaic (sorry it is not the correct words, software is not in English), the problem is solved, but we are not satisfied with the feeling of it (as regards UX and ergonomy). Not sure if it's a bug or if I should change something in the parameters to solve this problem...Any help will be much appreciated ! Many thanks.

Hi Elodie,
I'm sorry to hear your question slide isn't working as expected when re-attempting the question!
Do you, by chance, have motion paths associated with this drag-and-drop? If so, you could be running into a bug where drag items in drag and drop interaction act erratically in succeeding attempts if the drag items have a motion path.
If this isn't what you're running into, feel free to share your file with our support team, as that will be the best way for us to provide feedback on getting this interaction set up successfully!

Hi Ren,
Thank you for your reply. Indeed motion paths are associated with this drag and drop activity. I've sent you my file as I am not sure how to fix this problem on my own.
Thank you in advance,
Cheers,
Elodie
Hi Elodie,
I see that you've started a case, and my teammate, Mark, is taking a look at your file. Feel free to record a video of what you're experiencing, or share more details of the slide you're running into issues with.
You're in great hands, keep at it with him!
