I'm wondering if there's a way to have drag and drop items animate to the correct location when users receive wrong answer feedback without having to manually establish paths for each item?

Hi Christie, thanks for your response. These suggestions relate to the post quiz review but what I want to do is to have the draggable items immediately move to the correct location when wrong answer feedback is provided. I can engineer this using fixed paths but because I don't know where the user has placed them the best I can do is begin the path from the object's original starting position. My preference would be to have them animate from whereever the user has left them but I can't see that there is a way to do this in Storyline.
Hi, Gordon -- Thank you for the additional explanation. Unfortunately, I am not aware of a method I can suggest for what you have in mind, so I will need to defer to the community to assist you further. And again, our design forum over here may yield additional suggestions, as well. :)
Thanks Walt, this behaves the way I want. What a pity that Storyline doesn't have this as one of the default behaviours as other authoring systems do. If I have 7 objects with 7 destinations then I'd have to code 36 unique paths - just for a bit of sensible feedback. This would be so simple for Articulate to build into the system.

Hi, Gordon -- Thanks so much for your question! While I am not certain that this is what you have in mind (and this example happens to be for Storyline 1), but have you had a chance to check out this article on How to Show Correct Answers for Drag-and-Drop Questions in Quiz Review?
