Drag and Drop not working for client's LMS in IE 11 but works EVERYWHERE ELSE!

Apr 13, 2017

Help!

I've developed a module for a client and included 2 drag and drop exercises which worked fine when I tested it online (when published to web), and worked fine in my cloud based LMS (Docebo), Articulate Review, literally these exercises work EVERYWHERE except my client's LMS when accessed via IE 11.

I'm fairly certain their LMS is supported by Citrix, which might be the issue. I've uploaded one of the exercises for reference. What's happening is the drop items are not snapping to the drop targets, therefore the module thinks the user isn't answering the question.

Hey Wendy,

Thanks for including the published zip file. I uploaded it to SCORM Cloud, which is the platform we use to test how a course behaves in an LMS. You can test this link in a few different browsers, if you'd like.

Since the course is working well in SCORM Cloud and in Docebo, it sounds like this issue is related to your client's LMS. Do you know which LMS they're using? Maybe other folks in the community can chime in and share if they've had a similar experience.

Thanks Alyssa,

I've had this response from my client;

"We are not using Citrix to access the training, as far as I’m aware our connections are direct although some Joint Venture do use Citrix.

There is an authentication layer (ZScaler) that we go through, but I can’t see that affecting how the content runs."

I was able to test the module on their LMS platform via their support team in San Francisco, and it worked fine with them. It's just the team in the UK who will actually be using the module where we seem to be having the problem.
