Drag and drop restrictions

Jan 06, 2016

Hello!

I'm new to using Articulate Storyline 2, and I could do with some help regarding drag and dropping items. I've managed to successfully do it using the triggers, but how would I restrict the amount of objects being allowed to be dropped onto the target? For example, if I drag and drop my first object onto target B, (area A, being its original place), then decided I want my second object on there instead, so I drag and drop the second object onto target B, as I do so, the first object automatically goes back to area A.
I created the drag and drop from scratch and did not use the Question Tools-Design option, and preferably would like to keep it that way.

I also want a reset button that when clicked will automatically move all objects back to it's original placement. What trigger settings is needed for this to happen? (This part of the question is now resolved thanks to Ron!)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Melody.

I second Wendy's suggestion, but in the meantime . . .

Using the the Quiz Drag and drop feature will allow you to easily set the option to only have one item per drop target.

As far as resetting a slide - you can create a trigger to jump to slide - and choose the same slide you are on.  You will want to make sure you adjust slide properties to reset slide when revisiting.

Hope that helps
