you have to reset it by applying a trigger"Jump to slide that slide on which Drag and drop interaction is add" on the "Incorrect layer". Also on the main slide on which interaction is added set "Reset to initial state when revisiting"

just do in base layer click gear icon and "reset to intial state" hope it will work for you.
