Drag Drop example answers?

Jun 14, 2012

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create a drag and drop activity where the first few items have already been placed correctly for the user to see as examples. They are then to continue dragging-dropping the remaining objects.

I've set the state of the first 3 examples to "Drop Correct", and tried to place them inside the hotspots that define the drop-locations... but when I try to drag in new objects, they cover the old ones. I would like them to not cover the examples, but still allow the user to (if they want) drag and drop the examples from their original location (which is inside the drop-locations.

Can anyone provide advice or suggestions on what to do?

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Thanks for that suggestion! We had actually wanted the users to first drag-drop all of the objects into their boxes, and then allow them to click on a "check my answers" button before any feedback comes up.

I do have another question though - do you know if there is a way to set up an object to change shape only if a user clicks and holds on it, and then change back once the user lets go of the mouse?

Thank you!
