Drag&Drop Quiz - How to reuse drag item?

Feb 11, 2019

Hi everyone,

is there a way how I can reuse a drag item in the drag&drop type of quiz? I have 5 statements and wanted to give students only two options in form of buttons YES and NO. When they drag one of these items to the drop area, its replicant would re-appear in its original box. Is this even possible? I know I can have a couple of buttons next to each statement but would really want to do it the other way.

See theimage to understand the layout I designed for it.

I want learners to be able to drop YES or NO button to the little drop areas as many times as possible. How do I achieve that?

Any advice would be super helpful!

Thank you so much!

Hi Lukas!

This type of design gets tricky, since you have to drop particular "yes" and "no" buttons in specific targets. In other words, one drag item has only one drop target. You can't drag one item to three possible targets.

For this type of question, I'd recommend using two buttons next to each statement. Other folks in the community may have other ideas for you, too!
