drag item hiding behind slide layers
Oct 15, 2014
Hi team!
I have created a slide where you drag an item to 3 different targets, each of which reveal a different layer when dropped on. Once each layer has displayed, the idea is that the learner drags the item to the next target to reveal the next layer of information.
My issue is that it is possible for the learner to drag the item behind objects in layer 1 which then makes the item un-draggable!
Is there any way to stop this from happening?
Thanks in advance

You'll be able to see what I mean by viewing my slide here.
Once one of the layers is visible, you can drag the red circle underneath the grey text box and then it becomes un-draggable.
Hi Jacqueline
I have updated your Edit Drag and Drop options...so that the red circle snaps back to the starting point if it is dropped out of the rectangle holding your three grey circles.
See if this is what you mean
Thanks Wendy, that's perfect.
The only change I made was to uncheck the 'snap dropped items to target' so the red circle didn't snap to the center of the rectangle.
Hi Jacqueline
no problem - whatever works for you!
