Drag'n Drop - Bug?

Hi,
I have a question/problem. Pls look into the attachment.
They are 2 rectangles and a hotspot.
The blue rectangle has the trigger "change state of Rectangle 1 to hidden if Rectangle 1 drops on Hotspot". The Hotspot is behind the second rectangle.
When i drop rectangle 1 on rectangle 2 it should jump back to its original place. Because rectangle 2 is over the hotspot.
Was there a change in the Drag'n Drop functionality? In Storyline 2 it worked like it should. Now with Storyline 3 and Storyline 360 it reacts differently.
Thanks
Sam

Hi there Sam,
Thanks for bringing this up, and I'm sorry it's been causing problems for you! I'm seeing the same thing you're seeing. It appears that a drag item can be dropped on a hotpot in HTML5, even if that hotspot is covered. This doesn't seem to happen in Flash. You can view my testing of both outputs here.
I'll share this with my team so we can begin looking at next steps. We'll keep you posted on any new developments as we tackle this bug.
I am having the same issue.. has there been any resolution?
Hi Helene,
Thanks for checking in. We're still seeing this bug in both Storyline 360 and Storyline 3. Which of those versions are you using?
I'd like to have a look at your file to verify that this bug is causing the problem you're seeing. Would you mind sharing your file with me here?
I'm pretty sure it's the same issue.. I'm doing the same thing.. once an item is dropped on a drop area.. the drop area should go hidden... and it does not.. it is still enabled as a drop area... this happens only when I view the html5 version.. not the flash version.
Sadly, I cannot share my file with you because for some reason (that I believe to be related to how our IT folks have our network locked down).. I cannot upload to your site.
Understandable Helene. Thanks for confirming. This thread has been attached to the report so that we can update you when we can.
Awesome. thanks!
