Storyline thinks the two rectangles with "4" are different answers, and only one matches each problem.
See if the solution in the second slide attached will solve the problem. I have added a slide with a "pick one" Free Form interaction that uses text entry for the answers. I've used the logic from this video. The beginning of the video doesn't apply, but the scoring of the problems is explained beginning about 17:00 minutes on the video.
This is a rather complex solution for simple arithmetic. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
