Drag out Trigger?

Feb 28, 2017

Hi,

I am trying to provide a solution to a Drag Out type action.

Currently when a user drags a word into a blank space of a sentence I have a dashed line placed so users can see where they need to drag the word.

Once the user releases the mouse I have set it so that the dashed line disappears to provide a better look and format.

I would like to be able to bring the dashed line back though if the user decides to drag the chosen word out if they think it is the wrong decision, but I am struggling to achieve this.

If there was a "Drag out" trigger it would be useful? I tried a "lose Focus" option but it does not work for me.

Any suggestions?

Create an invisible shape that is slightly larger than the drop target, and place it under the target. (Make it invisible by filling it and setting transparency to 100%.)

Set a trigger to show the dashed line when user drags an object over the shape.

Since the line shows already, nothing will happen when they drag in, and the line will show when they drag out.
