Dragged items will not align with drop targets

I am working on a classic drag and drop slide and for some reason when in preview mode, my drag items aren't aligning properly with the drop targets. I haven't had any issues with similar slides/drop targets before so I'm confused as to what may be causing this. Am I overlooking something or could this be a glitch? Anyone else have this issue?

I have seen this recently - we worked around it by placing hotspots on the drop targets and using the hotspots in the form view
