duplicate .msi files

Im noticing on my local drive, for Articulate360, both Studio and Storyline have multiple duplciate .msi installer files.   Same name, same file size, same date.

There's 32 of these for studio, and each one appears located in a tree of folders, consecutively in another Application Data folder.

 

The first one is in :Program Data/Package Cache

Second :Program Data/Application Data/Package Cache

Third :Program Data/Application Data/Application Data/Package Cache

Fourth :Program Data/Application Data/Application Data/Application Data/ Package Cache

and so on.

 

Are these safe to delete? 
Why is this happening?
