I'm having difficultly duplicating and adding slide layers as I want the layer to look identical to the actual slide, but the fonts are changing and I can't keep them from returning to Articulate. I've tried to apply my intended font in Design, Fonts to the slides and on the slide master to no avail. Thanks!
Have you ALSO applied the "custom" Design Font in the Feedback master? Layers use the Feedback Master as their Master...I didn't know that for the longest time. I'd thought the Feedback master was only for Feedback.
Once you've applied the font there, your layers should apply that font. Please let us know if that works. If not, perhaps you can provide more info or a sample slide?
I also experience difficulty when copying content that has lines/arrows. The weight and style seems to change and I have to always go in and verify/change them to match what I wanted them to duplicate. Is there also a similar "master" setting that will control these graphics when duplicating or copying them?
I don't think I've experienced the same thing so I'm not sure how to respond.
When you say copying content that "...has lines/arrows," are you referring to Storyline shapes? Or to images you've inserted?
Also, are you copying/pasting them within one slide in your story? Or from one slide to another within the same story? Or from one .story file to another?
Are you able to upload a slide with an example of where this has happened?
If it's happened to others, I hope they'll post here.
Thanks for reaching out here and this thread is a bit older, but it does seem that it was an issue reported separately to our QA team for Storyline 1. It seems to only impact the font when you duplicate a base layer and the formatting is set on the slide master vs. on the slide itself. Is that the same behavior you're experiencing? I'll include this thread in the report filed with our team so that we can keep you posted here with any additional information, but as I can't offer a timeframe for when we'll have any additional information in the meantime I'd look at making the font formats on the slides themselves and then duplicate those.

Thanks soooooo much Rebecca! Feedback master huh???
Pretty sure I wouldn't have ever figured that out on my own.
Works like a charm!
Thanks again!
What goes around comes around in this community. Pretty sure it was David Anderson that pointed that out to me QUITE some time ago.
Tx verifying that it works...will undoubtedly help others!
OK, so now I have a related question.

HI Everyone,
I duplicated one of my slides to a layer ans the fonts changed.
I tried the Feedback Master and it still changed my font-
does anyone have a solution for this?
