Dynamically build quiz based on user input?
Oct 07, 2014
I'm trying to find a way in Articulate (update 6) to filter out certain quiz questions, based on user input. The best situation would be:
* User selects option 1, 2, and 4 on a slide; these are stored as variables (i.e., itemOne == true, itemTwo == true, etc.) to reference later on
* They only see quiz questions relating to those items, and no items relating to 3.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've been racking my brains trying to figure it out, and the only way I've found gives an incomplete score (unless they select all items in the first slide):
* User selects options 1 and 3; these are stored as variables
* Based on those variables, triggers route their selection "past" certain slides (quiz slides pertaining to 2 and 4), so they only see quizzes on 1 and 3
Again, the problem with this is that the result will always be for allelements -- so, if they select 1 and 3, they can at max get a 50% score.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Could you use a trigger that would check a test answer only if a variable was a certain condition? If so, you could then submit when the timeline ended. The user would briefly see the slide before it skipped to the next question.
