Dynamically hiding and showing menu items - javascript?

Hi,

I'm creating a module which will have multiple languages. I therefore will need to duplicate scenes and change the content.

I therefore need to display only the scenes for the language selected at the start in the menu. Is there a way to hide/show menu items with JavaScript?

If this can't be achieved, can the menu titles be changed at run time with JavaScript, so the correct titles are given for the correct language?
