I work for a large college system who uses the eCollege platform for our online courses. Not sure how to publish Storyline files in this LMS. I tried to upload the folder with the content, the copy the html from the story.html file into the content item in eCollege. That didn't work. Can anybody help?
There aren't any errors. When I copy and paste the code from the story.html file, nothing is displayed in the visual mode...i.e. what the student is seeing. I didn't see a way to link the contents of the folders created when you output storyline to the main story.html page.
I don't believe eCollege supports html5 but they do support flash. Does this help? Elaine
That should get you pointed in the right direction. You may need to contact ecollege directly to see if they have any additional resources on adding SCORM content.
Hi Elaine, have you had any success uploading and displaying Storyline files on eCollege? I am doing the same thing that you were trying to do, but I can't get it to work either.
I haven't fully tested this but it looks like if you upload the folder containing the storyline content to eCollege, then use the command and insert the folder you uploaded it works. Let me know!
Hey Elaine, instead of uploading all the files to the course's file manager (which didnt work for me), I zipped up the published files. Then, I created a new course item on eCollege, used the “Web Content Upload” option, and designated the HTMLin the output folder as the “first page” for viewing. The module shows up as a course item on the left panel, but you can still createlink to this module from other course items. It’s not the most fancy and you can’t do any intro text before the module, but it’s a good workaround. I tested it twice and worked both times. I hope this will work for you!

Hi Elaine,
Can you give us an idea of the issues you are experiencing? Any errors etc?
Cheers,
Dean

Hi Elaine,
I'd recommend checking out ecollege's information on publishing SCORM content:

Elaine,
Have you tried loading it as a .zip package?
Mike
Yes, that is how we have been doing it.
Elaine
Thanks, Christine. This sounds like a good way!
