Edit a screen recording (step by step): Extract screenshot from Storyline file, edit it in Photoshop, put it back into Storyline file

I have seen similar topic threads but they are quite outdated, and I wonder if the functionality has changed.

I have created a step-by-step screen recording of a website (one screen shot per slide). I need to edit each screen shot to sanitize live, personal information so we're not sharing this live data in the final video.

In another tool, I'd be able to extract that background screenshot image, edit it in Photoshop, and then bring it back in to the file.

I don't need to edit the timeline of the capture like other people have shared. I need to the screen shot itself to alter the content. Example: Change a real company name on the page to a generic one. Using text boxes on top of the screen shot to fake/mimic Photoshop edits produces inelegant results. I need to edit the screenshots themselves.
