Edit / view interactions?
Jan 10, 2019
Hello all,
I'm a relatively new SL360 user and I'm trying to work out what interactions do and how to view/change them. I have a file in which some slides are quizzes with multiple choice answers. The feedback after submitting the selected answers is an audio file for either 'Correct' or 'Incorrect'. These are kept on separate layers.
The problem I'm having is that if *no* answers are selected and the user submits, the alert box appears, and then *both* audio files play concurrently.
This seems to be controlled by an interaction (called 'Pick One') that presumably checks if no answers have been selected. Is there a way I can see what that interaction does, or edit it so that it starts the slide again rather than playing both audio files at once? This is a client's file so I can't do too much to it :/
thanks!

Just thinking this looks more like the Lightbox audio bug reported elsewhere - can anyone confirm? I'd still like to know about the interactions though :/
Hi Andrew,
I didn't see another discussion you were involved in that mentioned this lightbox issue, but if you have the link handy I'm happy to compare that with what you're describing!
For this Pick Many interaction - what is selected as the correct choice on the slide? If the learner hasn't chosen any options and still tries to submit, they should see the "Invalid answer" pop up and it would return them to the question slide - not start any of the layers.
Without seeing your file, it's impossible to say if there is something else impacting this. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I’ll delete it when I’m done troubleshooting.
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the reply - it seems to be the same issue as reported here. Following Don's suggestion I have rolled back to the October 30 release and everything seems to be fine now :)
thanks!
Thanks for that link, Andrew! It looks like that issue was introduced in Update 21, and our team is looking into fixes for it now. I'll keep you posted here on that too!
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
Fixed: Audio tracks from multiple layers could play simultaneously, even when the layers weren't open.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
