Currently, there is Export to Word and Review 360 to provide the stakeholders a means to review and provide feedback/edits. However, neither allow them to actually change the words on the page or track changes.
This would be an extremely helpful and important feature in Storyline 360 as it is a common task required by businesses.
I don't have all the answer here but programmers at Articulate could perhaps find a way.
Either insert the editable text from text boxes under each slide during the export to Word, and allow the Reviewers to track the changes, then the ID make the change manually in the .story file.
As far as multiple people making changes, there needs to be one person who finalizes it. If done through track changes (Word), then you will see each person's change, however, one person, will need to finalize it and forward to the ID to update the .story file.
If not manual updating by the ID, maybe Articulate could magically figure out when the final copy is approved and then transfer the new content.
Obviously, there will be times, when manual intervention is still required where buttons exist etc. It would need to be able to take text boxes, and put them in editable format before the slide.
I thought of that but I also saw what they look like. From what I saw, there is too much information they don't need to see and they don't have time to go through it.
So further to your point, Phil, on using export a translation document, it would be useful if we were able to select what we don't want to see. For example, for reviews, we don't want to see the Alt Text etc. If we could choose, only export words on a page and layers etc., that would be really useful.

So, when a change is made to the version being reviewed, how do you envision the change making its way back to the original source .story file?
If I make a change, and another stakeholder makes a change, whose change will be the one which appears to the rest of the stakeholders?

Just reaching out for a better way.
You can export a translation document and give them that.
