I have a ppt map of the US. As the learner hovers over certain hotspots that I have created, I would like a text box to display and within that text box I need to add TEXT. I have watched numerous videos and do not understand how to do this. Can someone please locate some directions that pertain to this.
I have an object trigger called Boston and I have a SHOW Layer when user hovers over it

Are you looking to edit the existing text, or for the user to be able to add the text?
If you're needing to edit the existing text, you'll need to do so on the layer itself. Here is a tutorial on working with slide layers and triggers to get you started.
I am trying to add a text on my results slide that gives the Learner specific instructions on what to do next since they have failed all attempts to pass a quiz. I only want the Learner to see this Banner or note when they have failed the quiz for the third try.

I only have one issue, the text (After 3 failed attempts, you will need to contact your Branch Manager for additional instruction.) is still not appearing on the results layer after the final attempt. I was able to customize the Retry to No More Attempts and it displays as designed, but the customized text, which is above does not.
I'm sure it is "User Error", just can't define where the error is.

Are you looking to edit the existing text, or for the user to be able to add the text?

If you're looking for the user's to enter text as they're taking the course, you'll need to include a data or text entry field.
If there is a specific video that you need further clarification on, could you point me in the direction of that video?

Hello Lenore,
With your goal in mind, one approach is to place separate text on the Success and Failure layers and use a variable to track the number of quiz attempts.

This should be a quick fix! You'll just want to add this text to the Disabled State for the Retry button.

Storyline 360 reports one results slide to a Learning Management System, so you might need to try a workaround to report multiple results slides!
