I have a shape that links to another slide in the scene, and then branching brings the learner back to the original slide. Is there a way I can change the state of the shape (ie, add a check mark in the circle to alert the learner that they had visited that link already) to "viewed" even if I have an additional trigger already set to the shape?
When I preview just the one slide, it works just fine with the trigger to change the state . However, when I preview the entire scene, click the button, get taken to the next screen, and then get taken back to the original screen, the check mark isn't there. It's like the state isn't carrying over between the slide changes, and I'm not sure how to get rid of that disconnect.

Yes, you can add multiple triggers to the same shape. Just add a trigger that changes the state to viewed when clicked.

Check to make sure the settings for the slide are set to resume saved state when revisited.
