editing audio

Mar 15, 2015

I would like to be able to edit out the sibilant 's's as well as the explosive sounds from 'p's and 'k's.  Is there some way of doing this?  I've been able to manipulate and edit a fair bit but am stuck on these few things.  I don't want to have to re-voice the entire very lengthy project.

People with more experience on recording will hopefully chime in but the ideal thing for S's (you may want a booth for the microphone to reduce any echo's) is to record with the microphone further away and for Popping Ps to use a shield

For editing the audio you have You can use a de-esser to remove the S's and Audition has Popping P removal tool, I would be wary of over processing the audio
