Hi, I'm currently trying to incorporate an audio file into a series of slides in Storyline. Is there any way to break the audio up in Storyline and import sections of it into each slide or do you need to complete this action outside Storyline?
How's it going? For the audio file you will need to divide it first prior to importing it to Storyline. The built-in audio editor is for a single audio track only and at this time there is no way to export snippets of a long audio file. You will want to use Audacity or Adobe Audition instead. Although what you are looking for could be a good idea as a feature request. You can submit one with this link.

Hope this helps,

Edit: I was able to workaround this by adding the same audio file into different layers in the timeline and then doing the crop there.
Thanks JM, yes I will definitely look into the feature request:)
There is also a way to play snippets of a single audio file throughout your course. This may not be appropriate for your course though.
