I am trying to break my closed captioning at what I consider to be a better break point. That leaves a dangling piece of closed captioning. Is there a way to combine segments of closed captioning after breaking in new places?
You can edit the text in the caption placeholders as described here. You'll need to copy and paste the content you want to be included in that second caption, as there isn't an option to combine pre-existing captions.
