eLearning is skipping slides when I review content slides after quiz

Oct 09, 2019

My Articulate Storyline eLearning has content slides, a quiz slide with zero points so that it acts as a knowledge check slide, more content slides, and then a final quiz.

My results slide has two buttons. Both reset the quiz variable and jump the user back to a slide. One jumps them back to the start of the quiz, and the other to the start of the content, so the user can look at it again. Both quiz reset triggers were ticked to only do incorrect questions, so the user didn't have to redo questions they got right.

However when previewing my course, if I select the review content button, it works up until my knowledge check slide. Then it jumps straight to the quiz, skipping the rest of the content. But the only buttons on that slide are set to jump to the next content slide, so I cannot figure out why it's jumping back to the quiz.

If I change the trigger to reset the quiz variable so that it does all questions, not just the incorrect ones, the problem goes away. But I'd prefer for uses to only re-do incorrect questions if possible.

Is there a way to fix this? I'm fairly new to Articulate and may be missing something obvious, but I've hunted around the forums and can't find anything.

Thanks,

Jess.
