Elearning not loading for some

Hi all,

I often use little Storyline Articulate activities during my ILT sessions.  I host them as a web version on over FTP, so no tracking/LMS etc. 

I can be running a session with upwards of 10 delegates and 8 will load up no problem but some will have issues with it not loading at all, or getting stuck buffering. I don't think I've ever managed to run a session with everyone's just started without any issues. Sometimes, getting the delegates to open in Chrome Incognito mode works but not always.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be or what settings might be causing these issues? (Obviously, its worse at the moment with us delivering all training remotely and delegates using their own laptops.)

A couple of questions for you as we dive in here:

  • Are you using the Articulate FTP feature or a third-party FTP client? 
  • For the learners experiencing issues, do you recall which browsers they are using?

Hi Vincent, 

Thank you for your reponse, not sure how i missed it. .

  • We're using a Filezilla FTP client, admintedly never thought to try Articulate's FTP - I'll have to give that a try once i've remembered the password 😖
  • Its not browser specific - Chrome, IE, edge etc
