#ELHToronto: Why You Need an E-Learning Portfolio
Jul 10, 2014
If you're an e-learning designer or developer having a great e-learning portfolio can be the difference between landing that contract or that gig that you want, or not. In this session Articulate community member Ashley Chiasson talks about her first-hand experience of how a portfolio has helped her career.
Questions and answers!
Q: Where should I house my portfolio if I don't have a blog or a website?
A: One great free option is to upload and share your content through Google Drive
Q: For proprietary content and NDA content, what is a solution for being able to share that kind of content?
A: Best solution is to re-create something similar, or keep the original but remove the branding and content and replace with filler text. It's also a good idea to check with the client if they are okay with you using their work in your portfolio; some people are receptive to it and is might lead to link-backs and more traffic to their own sites.

Another good question:
"How can I create generic or sanitized versions of my work projects?"

I have found this site to be an excellent option to house some of your work. Portfoliobox.net.
