Email or forms?

Sep 02, 2016

Hello all,

I received a question from my management team and I am not sure how to answer this.

We have a program that requires our employees to view certain documents; policies, laws, procedures, etc. I know how to set up Storyline to track when they complete an item.

The management staff would like to have the results of that emailed to the employee's supervisor for review. Then they want the supervisor to be able to electronically sign that document and forward to HR.

Is it possible to have the results sent in a PDF document that would have the ability for the supervisor to electronically sign and forward? How would I go about doing that.

I am currently using SL2 and  Outlook 2013 (but not all employees have 2013, some have 2010)? I have limited coding experience so I don't even know if this is possible.

Thanks so much

Scott

Thanks for this. I have already asked that question of why would the supervisor need to sign the checklist, but the answer I got was that it helps in dealing with union grievances. Sure, I guess. But I thought the LMS was supposed to do the same, we do use Moodle 3.1 here. My initial thought was when they complete the course, it could be sent directly to HR, bypassing the supervisor completely. I was overridden.
