Email results

Hi, I have to questions:

I am building a graded survey.
I want to send the results by mail.
Any idea how to do this?

Is it posible to have the email address loaded from a text-entry variable?

Hi Itzik:

You can cerate a trigger on your results slide (using any clickable object) and set it to send email.

I tried loading a user data entry to populate the email field of the trigger but no results with that. A static email address needs to be used at this point.

I am a bit confused by all of this - I did not think it was possible in Storyline for security reasons.

See http://community.articulate.com/forums/t/23544.aspx but then seems to say it can be done here.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding some part of the detail here.

Hi Bruce:

I understand the confusion, however, when it all is said and done... Just do it and see what happens

It does work, now I want to try to make it work where the email address is inserted via a variable User TextEntry.

In fact... I'll be messing with JavaScript to try to achieve it because I do not like the fact that it opens my OutLook new mail window.
