Hi,
I prepare a game in Storyline and I use special font, not standard in Windows. And everything was perfect but I noticed that this special font is not embed when I use this font for showing variables. It works when I use variables of number type, but it doesn't work when variable is text type. Any idea how I can solve this problem? There is no option to change font because font is strongly connected with type of game.

Unfortunately you can't embed the font for text entry fields in Storyline so unless the end user has the font installed on their device the text will not display correctly. The only option is to use a font that most users have installed. Ariel is one suggestion.
I have other solution, I can use flash file and there build text field with embed fonts and communicate between SL content and flash using JS :)
Hi, Kamil -- Thanks so much for sharing an update, and you may already be aware but I just wanted to note that unfortunately, we are not able to provide support for JavaScript coding. In case you wanted to take a look, here is a document on recommended JavaScript Best Practices. :)
Hi Kamil,
Nancy is correct - and I did just want to share the documentation here about variable references.
Hi Kamil, Your solution will work well when using the web (Flash) output, but won't work on mobile devices that use the HTML5 output.
Nancy, I'm aware of that, but I prepare a game just for Flash version.
