Embed Scorm from AS into a website

Aug 20, 2014

Hey folks-

So, we're sort of in love with the demo mode of Articulate, and we're exploring the possibilities of embedding some of those demo exercises into our help site.

Anyone know if/how this could be done?

Thanks!

Hi Jesse,

I'm always happy to hear about someone being in love...although I'm not sure what you mean by "demo mode"? Are you referring to particular tutorials or such? I don't have the embed code for elements such as the videos in the different topics here, but you could always provide a link to this on your help site. You'll find some of our support article, such as this one include videos and have the option to share - which you'll see the embed code for those which you could use on a site.

If I'm misunderstanding, could you offer a bit more information about what you'd like to set up?

Hey thanks Ashley!

I was specifically referring to the step-by-step screenshare assessments that let the learner walk through the process of doing something. The key here is the interaction. We want them to be able to read an article on how to do something with our product and then to use the screen recording assessment mode embedded into our website to actually physically try it out.

Does that make sense?

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the clarification. If you record a screen recording within Storyline and use it as a step by step set up, you could publish that course for web and then use it within your website. How you embed it within your site will depend on your site, but users regularly add published Storyline courses to a web site or server so that the user can play them within the site.
