This is a very strange problem. I have a course that uses a few embedded Google forms that the learners enter information into. The embedded forms display perfectly when published. However, when the learner clicks the Submit button on the embedded form in the published course the data is not captured to a Google Spreadsheet as it should.
Oddly, the forms capture data when filled out outside of the Storyline course. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
Are you viewing the published output upload to a web server or LMS? If you're viewing it locally it may not be able to report the data to the Google doc, based on security and browser restrictions described here.
