Embedded Lessons from iPad

Jun 27, 2014

I have created a Storyline lesson for a web application. I came across this article on embedding the lesson in the webpage. I would like to know how this would work when the learner is using the application from an iPad viewer.

Good Afternoon, Alison.

If you embed your Storyline output within an IFrame, your learners should find that Storyline uses the same criteria for determining which version of your content to display as if they were accessing the content directly.  In other words:

  • If they're using an iPad and you didn't choose the Articulate Mobile Player option when you published, but you did choose HTML5, they'll see the HTML5 output in mobile Safari.
  • If they're using an iPad and if you chose the Articulate Mobile Player option when you published, they'll see a launch page that allows them to view the course in the iPad app. (And if they don't have the app installed on their iPad yet, they'll see an option to install it.)

Please let us know if you need anything else, and have a great day!
