Embedded Video Quality enhancement?

I had developed several video based e-learning courses. But there was major limitation of video quality in Storyline because of automatic high compression of embedded videos while publishing (even with high quality setting).

I just learned that Articulate Presenter new update fixed the issue and supports uncompressed embedded videos. So Can I expect the same feature from Storyline in near future? Or I must buy presenter for this feature?

Any insight?

Having come across this issue before I can offer the following solution. After you have published your story go into the story_content folder ,find the the mp4 files and replace them with your higher quality files. But make sure you use the file name created by storyline.

Hope that helps,

Hi Srinivas,

It's been something that a number of users have shared they'd like to see in a future version of Storyline by submitting a feature request. I don't have any information to share in regards to what features may or may not make it into the next version, but this has been a popular feature request.

Since this is very popular request and already implemented in Presenter, I think it should be implemented in ASAP.

Because Quality matters a lot. I also have captivate and it has no issues in this regard. But I always love to use Articulate so eagerly waiting for the update. Thank you though.

Hi Srinivasulu,

I certainly understand and this feature request has been shared with our team by users submitted in the form of a feature request, but I don't have a time frame to offer in regards to the next version of Storyline or what features may be included.

We'll be sure to keep everyone updated on when the next version of Storyline is available, and in the meantime you may also want to follow along with the Word of Mouth blog for updates and information on Articulate.
