Embedded videos in lightbox slides

I used the ideas in e-learning how to's at http://articulate.createsend5.com/t/ViewEmail/r/02F82448E5D7F1BA2540EF23F30FEDED/342C5C713F9BD9C920B193FBA00ED1DB to build a 2 slide media gallery with lightboxes ie in the main scene, the user can click on one of two buttons; each then loads a lightbox slide which contains a youtube embedded video. It works perfectly when I preview it. However, after publishing, the videos appear to load in the lightbox, but the video does not play. I am using Windows 8. Any ideas gratefully received.

Further to my question above, the lightbox works fine in Internet Explorer but does not work when viewed in Google Chrome. I wonder if this is a more general compatibility problem?
Hi Errol,
I just tested this on my own file with a lightbox slide in Chrome (my preferred browser) and I also use windows 8. All worked as expected for me. Can you share the .story file that you're working on here? If you'd prefer to share it privately you can send it to me here too.
Thanks Ashley. Have privately uploaded the file and a Dropbox link. All works fine in Explorer, but in Chrome, it stalls (the wheel keeps spinning) on moving to the second slide which contains the light box slide with embedded video.

Here is another file that is giving me problems in Chrome - this time really does have the embedded video in slide 3. Thanks for helping.

Ashley,
Thie attached is probably a better example of the problem I am having with Chrome. In slide 3 clicking on a lightbox button gives a black screen. Works fine in IE10. Thanks for the help

Thanks Errol for sending these along - I also just replied to your email with the file you sent. All of these are working as expected for me in Google Chrome, the lightbox opens and the video begins playing. You'll want to review the Storyline system requirements for viewing here. There is also an article here you may want to review about why your videos may not be playing when viewed locally, especially in Google Chrome.
Rhanks ashley. Until Google updates Chrome I will use another browser to view locally.
Thanks Errol for the update - when you're viewing your published output, you'll also want to make sure you're viewing within the intended environment, as viewing locally can also cause you to encounter a number of security restrictions.
