Is there a way to avoid having the "play" icon be the cover of an embedded storyline object on a web page?
I have audio in my file and when I added the iframes with link to my page, they just see the start button and now the actual interaction (see attachments).
I currently have an "image" of the course on my intranet and then linked the image to the file, but this pulls users out of the intranet to interact with my file. Ideally, I would like the content embedded so they can interact within the intranet site.
It sounds like you may be running into two different things. The first is that play button, which seem similar to what we've seen in Chrome and Safari as browsers being to block the autoplay of media. You can read a bit more about Chrome's change for audio here, as they've also temporarily rolled back this fix. It's still a good idea to check what update of Storyline you're publishing with, and what version of Chrome you're viewing your courses in.
If you're using a different browser than Chrome or Safari, let me know. Our team has also started to see this in Firefox, but only with audio.
As for embedding the content in the page, I'd suggest reaching out to your IT team for help on that! We have some directions on it here, but your internal IT team will be the best resource to ensure that those directions match your site and set up.
Let me know if you need anything else - I'm here to help!
