Embedding SL quiz and SSL security

Jun 28, 2017

I am a newbie to SL3 and I have a question about embedding a Storyline quiz as external content in another tool/website.  I will have to insert iframe code and the site states that embedded code must support SSL security. (The link should contain “https://).  I see from past discussions that you use the following line of code to embed: <iframe src="http://MyServer.com/MyCourse/story.html" width="980" height="658"></iframe>

I would like to publish the quiz to a web server and then embed it to another tool/site by inserting the iframe code. How can I make sure that my SL quiz supports SSL security?  What would be the iframe coding that I would use?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Amy,

If you're hosting the published content on another site or server, that's where the SSL security settings would be. It's not specific to your published content, but where it's hosted.

The iframe code change will need to list your site/server where the content would be hosted. So for example, something like https://aterwilliger.com/SampleCourse/story.html.
